The purpose of this study is to examine the factor structure of the ¡®Korean Activities of Daily Living (K-ADL)¡¯ scale used in the Korean Longitudinal Study of Ageing and to test its measurement invariance across gender, age, education and income groups. Data from the 5th wave of Korean Longitudinal Study of Ageing (KLoSA) was analyzed using a confirmatory factor analysis and a multi-group confirmatory factor analysis. The Findings were as follows. First, the K-ADL was agreeable to the data, suggesting that it was possible to do validly measure the level of daily living abilities. Second, its factor model showed that the measurement invariance to ¡®factor variance level¡¯ sustained between two genders. And its factor model showed that the measurement invariance to ¡®residual invariance level¡¯ sustained among education groups and between two groups having a spouse or not. Third, the measurement invariance to ¡®factor loading level¡¯ sustained between those below 65 and those 65 and over, and between those 65-75 and those 75 and over. This results indicated that the K-ADL could be valid to measure the level of daily living activities and to compare the obtained data across the groups which were analyzed in this study.
